Modernism

Purple and black. Not your typical or traditional colour of choice for a wedding. Personally, I think it is refreshing and it showed that the person who chose this colour is very open, modern and adventurous.

I have to stress that this would be the first time I incorporated a conventional (but small) wedding cake together with the cupcakes. The conventional cake is a yellow moist vanilla cake, frosted with Ganache and covered with Marshmallow fondant. The crystal and flower topper as well as the satin ribbon border with the embellishment are all non-edible. The cupcakes are Nutella-filled vanilla cupcakes with Buttercream frosting.

The butterflies and flower toppers are made from Marshmallow fondant
