Eid Mubarak

Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the month long fasting of Ramadan and the start of Syawal. Here in Singapore, Eid is commonly known as Hari Raya Puasa or Hari Raya Aidil Fitri - Hari Raya means Celebration Day. Eid ul-Fitr is not only for celebrations but also the time for Muslims to ask for forgiveness for any sin which they may have committed. During this, Muslims visits their elders, in the family, the neighborhood, or their work, and show respect to them. They will also seek reconciliation (if needed), and preserve or restore harmonious relations.

Here I would like to take this opportunity, to wish all Muslims,

"Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin"
